Role at the Firm
Paulina is a paralegal at Grzymala Law Offices, P.C. She assists and supports the firm’s attorneys by drafting letters and pleadings, managing correspondence, performing legal and factual research, assisting in trial and hearing preparation, court filings and business development. She is also a liaison between the firm’s attorneys and its clients.
Paulina loves new challenges and feels driven by the possibility of problem-solving, so law school was an easy choice for her. She graduated from the University of Szczecin in Poland where she received her Master of Law degree. Her master thesis focused on the analysis and comparison of Polish, European, and American citizenship. After moving to the United States, she decided to stay in a legal field and she graduated from the Wilbur Wright College in Chicago receiving her Paralegal AAS degree with high honors. While studying at Wright, she was a member of the student Paralegal Club and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Paulina volunteers monthly at the Amicus Poloniae Legal Clinic operated by the Polish National Alliance. Her work at the clinic focuses mostly on assisting attorneys and helping people seeking legal advice to feel comfortable in the clinic. In 2019, Paulina received the Distinguished Service Award from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services for her pro bono service.
Besides her professional work, Paulina blogs about life in Chicago and is also a presenter on Polish radio. Paulina is also fluent in writing and speaking Polish.
